2. Renewed Renters’ Office for Vancouver Residents

At the Standing Committee on City Finance and Services meeting on July 15, 2026, the meeting adjourned at 10 pm per section 2.8(c) of the Procedure By-law. Subsequently, due to time constraints, the Members’ Motion entitled “Renewed Renters’ Office for Vancouver Residents,” together with an amendment that was on the floor, was referred to the Council meeting on July 28, 2026, as Unfinished Business.

 

3. Villages Planning Program – Villages Plan, City-initiated Rezoning and Vancouver Official Development Plan Amendments

At the Public Hearing on July 14, 2026, Council heard the staff presentation, asked questions to staff, and heard speakers from 1 to 25 for Item 1. On July 20, 2026, Council heard speakers from 26 to 91 on the above-noted item. On July 22, 2026, Council heard remaining speakers and closed the speakers list and receipt of public comments. Subsequently, Council referred closing comments from staff, questions of staff, and debate and decision to the Council meeting on July 28, 2026, as Unfinished Business.
