1.   Southeast False Creek Olympic Village Neighbourhood - New Public Streets

On September 26, 2006 , Vancouver City Council considered the Administrative Report Southeast False Creek Olympic Village Neighbourhood - New Public Streets , dated September 8, 2006, submitted by the Street Naming Committee. Council approved the street names for the following three extensions of existing public streets:

• The extension of Columbia Street to be named Columbia Street .
• The extension of Manitoba Street to be named Manitoba Street .
• The extension of Ontario Street to be named Ontario Street .

However, Council postponed consideration of street names for three new public streets to the Regular Council meeting on October 17, 2006, and referred them to the Street Naming Committee for further consideration, with additional suggestions for street names from Council members.
