At the Council meeting immediately following the Standing Committee on Planning and Environment meeting on December 11, 2003, Council agreed to postpone the decision on a motion to invite Canada's new Prime Minister and cabinet to hold a meeting in Vancouver prior to the next federal election until Mayor Campbell was present.
