A Report Reference will be provided by Larry Beasley, Director of Central Area Planning. Please refer to Administrative Report A8, dated June 8, 1999, which is contained in this Council package.Please note that the presentation on June 15, 1999 will be for information only. Consideration of the report will be deferred to the June 24, 1999 meeting of the Standing Committee on Planning and Environment, for the hearing of delegations and for a Council decision. The Board of Parks and Recreation will review the report and hear any delegations at its meeting of June 21, 1999.
1. Text Amendment - 1610-1650 Bayshore Drive
Council considered the proposed text amendment to 1610-1650 Bayshore Drive at the Public Hearing held May 18, 1999.
Due to the late hour and the need to have further information from staff clarifying issues on views and an explanation of public benefits and impacts of other decisions such as transit, public housing benefits, details on potential changes in funding, Council concluded the Public Hearing and agreed to defer consideration of a motion to refuse application.
Larry Beasley, Director of Central Area Planning, will be present to provide the requested information.
