REPORT REFERENCE
1. Lower Mainland Treaty Advisory Committee (LMTAC)
At Council's meeting of May 12, 1998, the following motion was approved:
"THAT the Lower Mainland Treaty Advisory Committee (LMTAC), with other associated partners, provide a report reference to Council on the Treaty process and its current status. This would include issues related to the urban aspects of treaties, and the impacts of the recent Delgamuukw decision."
Accordingly, arrangements have been made for the Chair of the LMTAC, Councillor Nancy A. Chiavario, to provide the requested information, along with Mr. David Didluck, LMTAC's Policy and Aboriginal Affairs Analyst.
2. Public Involvement Review (PIR) - Evaluation Phase Report
The following will present a Report Reference on the Policy Report dated August 18, 1998:
- Jacquie Forbes-Roberts, Director of Community Planning;
- Bryan Johnston, Consultant (Context Research Ltd.).
3. Planning for the Next Capital Plan
Estelle Lo, General Manager of Corporate Services, will give a report reference on the preparation of the Capital Plan for the period 2000 to 2002.
