UNFINISHED BUSINESS
1. Smoke-Free Indoor Air By-law - Regional Proposal
Three Special Meetings of Vancouver City Council were held on
September 18, October 24 and November 7, 1995, for the purpose of
hearing delegations on a proposed smoking ban. Council heard a total of
90 speakers and deferred its decision to a future meeting.
On December 5, 1995, Council agreed to participate in a regional
consultation process initiated by the GVRD.

2. Proposed Rezoning of 1005 Beach Avenue
On February 27, 1996, Vancouver City Council deferred consideration
of a report on this matter to its March 12th meeting, to permit members
of Council an opportunity to review the plans and the model for the
proposed development.
