On Tuesday, September 8, 2026 a Special Council (Business Licence Hearing) will take place in the Council Chamber to determine whether the Chief Licence Inspector’s decision to not support the issuance of a 2026 business licence (“Business Licence”) to Marian Vo (the “Applicant”) for a short-term rental accommodation at 203-33 West Pender Street (the “Premises”) pursuant to Section 25.1(3) of the City of Vancouver’s Licence By-Law No. 4450, should be upheld, overturned, or attach conditions to the Business Licence.
Iain Dixon, Assistant Director – Regulatory Litigation, Legal Services, will represent the City of Vancouver. Marian Vo will represent herself.
