1. Business Licence Application No. AL0237537 (Short-Term Rental) 606-1060 Alberni Street
On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, a Special Council (Business Licence Hearing) will take place in the Council Chamber to determine whether the Chief Licence Inspector's decision to cancel the application made by Mahmoud Karimi (the "Applicant") for a 2026 business licence ("Business Licence") for a short-term rental accommodation at Unit 606-1060 Alberni Street (the "Premises") pursuant to Section 4(3) of the City of Vancouver's Licence By-Law No. 4550, should be upheld, overturned, or attach conditions to the Business Licence.
Robert LeBlanc, Litigation Counsel, Legal Services, will represent the City of Vancouver.
Mamoud Karimi will represent himself.
