On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, a Special Council (Business Licence Hearing) will take place in the Council Chamber to determine whether the Chief Licence Inspector’s decision to not support the issuance of a 2026 business licence (“Business Licence”) to Joon Park (the “Applicant”) for a short-term rental accommodation located at 1801-1788 Columbia Street (the “Premises”), pursuant to section 25.1(3) of the City of Vancouver’s Licence By-law No. 4450, should be upheld, overturned, or whether to attach conditions to the Business Licence.

Robert LeBlanc, Litigation Counsel, Legal Services, will represent the City of Vancouver. Joon Park (the “Applicant”) will represent himself.
