• This is a Special Council meeting called by the Mayor under sections 2.5(a) and 14.5 of the Procedure By-law for the purpose of convening a Business Licence Hearing.
• This Special Council meeting is to be convened by electronic means as authorized by Part 14 of the Procedure By-law and the Vancouver Charter.

On Tuesday, April 21, 2026 a Special Council (Business Licence Hearing) will take place in the Council Chamber to determine whether to deny, grant, or grant with conditions the application made by Joon Park (the “Applicant”) for a 2026 business licence (“Business Licence”) for a short-term rental accommodation at 1801-1788 Columbia Street (the “Premises”) pursuant to section 25.1(3) of the City of Vancouver’s Licence By-Law No. 4450.
Robert LeBlanc, Litigation Counsel, Legal Services, will represent the City of Vancouver. Joon Park (the “Applicant”) will represent himself.
