Appointment of Statutory Positions
THAT Council appoint Marina Marzin as Collector of Taxes.
The Administrative Report dated September 20, 2018, refers 
Strategic Land Acquisition: 2037 Stainsbury Avenue
A. THAT, Council authorize the General Manager of Real Estate and Facilities Management to negotiate and enter into an agreement of purchase and sale to acquire property having a civic address of 2037 Stainsbury Avenue, legally described as: PID:004-763-114 Lot 8 Blocks 6 to 8, District Lot 195, Plan 1976 (the “Subject Property”), at a cost of s.17(1), plus applicable taxes, on such other terms and conditions satisfactory to the Directors of Real Estate Services and Legal Services, with the source of funding to be the 2018 Property Endowment Fund(PEF) Capital budget.
B. THAT, upon gaining vacant possession of the Subject Property, the General Manager of Real Estate and Facilities Management proceed with the deconstruction of the building on the Subject Property at a cost of s.17(1), including any associated Hazardous Materials and Environmental reports and removal, with the source of funding to be the 2018 Property Endowment Fund Capital Budget.
