ADOPTION OF MINUTES
The minutes of the meeting of February 1, 2007, to be adopted.
1. Report Back on Child Care Issues & Endowment Reserve (Video Clip of this Item)
At the Regular Council meeting on December 12, 2006, the Chair advised that a request to speak on this matter had been received and Council agreed to refer consideration to a future Standing Committee meeting in order to hear from the speaker.
Accordingly, the attached Administrative Report dated February 27, 2007, refers.
2. Budget Consultation Review (Video Clip of this Item)
At the Regular Council meeting on January 30, 2007, a Motion regarding the above-noted matter was submitted by Council Louie. Councillor Ladner called Notice under Section 5.4 (c) of the Procedure By-law. The Motion was put on the Agenda for the Regular Council meeting immediately following the Standing Committee on City Services and Budgets meeting on February 1, 2007, and, due to time constraints, was subsequently referred to the Council meeting following the Standing Committee on Planning and Environment meeting later that day. As requests to speak had been received, Council referred the Moton to the first available Standing Committee meeting following the Special Standing Committee on City Services and Budgets dealing with the Interim Operating Budget.
Accordingly, the attached Motion, refers.
3. 450 Stanley Park Drive - Vancouver Rowing Club
Liquor Primary Liquor License for Outdoor Patio Seating (Video Clip of this Item)
At the Standing Committee on Planning and Environment meeting on February 15, 2007, Council agreed to refer this matter to a future Standing Committee meeting due to time constraints.
Accordingly, the attached Administrative Report dated January 30, 2007, refers.
4. Report Back on Halloween Consumer Fireworks (Video Clip of this Item)
The attached Administrative Report dated January 19, 2007, refers.
The report has been sent to interested parties, some of whom may wish to speak.
5. Green House Gas Reduction Strategy (Corporate Climate Change Action Plan):
- Report Back on Phase 1 (Upgrade Work to City Hall), and
