1. Lisa Duong dba Friendly Shop Second Hand Store

THAT the application for a 2005 Business License by Lisa Duong (the "License Applicant"), doing business as Friendly Shop Second Hand Store, for business premises located at 3085 Main Street, Vancouver, British Columbia (the "Premises"), be refused because the License Applicant has had a previous suspension in July 2000 and has again failed to properly manage the Premises by:

(a) failing to comply with the provisions of the Second Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers By-law in regards to the Premises, in particular having received property without obtaining proper ID; and

(b) causing a drain on Police and City resources in regards to the Premises.

2. Ali Tawana Mehri dba Star Groceries

THAT the application for a 2005 Business License by Ali Tawana Mehri (the "License Applicant"), doing business as Star Groceries, for business premises located at 346 East Hastings Street, Vancouver, British Columbia (the "Premises"), be refused because the License Applicant has failed to properly manage the Premises by:

(a) carrying on business to the detriment of the safety and well being of the public; and

(b) causing a drain on police and City resources; and

FURTHER THAT any future business license applications submitted to the City of Vancouver by Ali Tawana Mehri (the "License Applicant") be referred to Vancouver City Council.
