RECOMMENDATION
THAT Council authorize Councillor Gordon Price to travel to Regina for the Transportation Association of Canada Annual Conference, September 18-24, 1998, at an estimated cost of $1,829.37.
CITY MANAGER’S COMMENTS
The City Manager RECOMMENDS approval of the foregoing.
COUNCIL POLICY
Council’s travel policy, approved July 31, 1992, requires Council approval for travel within North America.
PURPOSE
This report requests approval for Councillor Price to travel to Regina for the Transportation Association of Canada Annual Conference, September 18-24, 1998. Councillor Price is the Chair of the City of Vancouver’s Transportation and Traffic Committee, and has recently been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Greater Vancouver Transportation Association.

The following are the estimated costs for travel and accommodation for six nights:
