1. 1998 Taxation Options

On April 30, 1998, the Standing Committee on City Services and Budgets had before it a Policy Report, dated April 21, 1998, on the above matter.

The Committee heard from delegations and agreed to defer discussion and decision on the Report to Council's meeting on May 12th to allow the public the opportunity to listen to the deliberations.

Ken Bayne, Comptroller of Budgets and Research, and Karen Levitt, Financial Analyst, will present an overview of the options, with the aid of slides.
