ADOPTION OF MINUTES

The minutes of the meeting of November 6, 1997, to be adopted.

1. Tourism Vancouver - Interim Payments of 2% Hotel Tax

The attached Administrative Report, dated November 19, 1997, refers.

Tourism Vancouver has received a copy of the report; a representative may wish to speak.

2. 1998 Business and Liveaboard Fees

Following the November 20, 1997, City Services & Budgets Standing Committee meeting, Council approved an increase in business license fees for 1998.

However, consideration of a recommendation to increase fees for liveaboard boat owners was deferred to the December 4th meeting to allow liveaboards boat owners time to prepare a response.

Accordingly, resubmitted is the Administrative Report dated October 24, 1997. Recommendation A of the report has been approved. Recommendations B and C are put forward for consideration.

3. Annual Review of Water Rates for 1998

The attached Administrative Report, dated November 10, 1997, refers.

4. Establishment of 1998 Solid Waste Utility Fees

The attached Administrative Report, dated November 26, 1997, refers.
