SUBJECT:	Authority to Travel from Vancouver, BC to Edmonton, AB to attend the Transportation Association of Canada Conference - September 30 - October 2, 2000

RECOMMENDATION

THAT Council authorize Councillor Gordon Price to travel from Vancouver to Edmonton, to attend the Transportation Association of Canada Conference, at an estimated cost of $1,332.

CITY MANAGER'S COMMENTS

The City Manager submits the recommendation for Council's CONSIDERATION.

COUNCIL POLICY

Council's travel policy, approved July 31, 1992, requires Council's approval for travel outside the GVRD, within North America.

PURPOSE

This report requests approval for Councillor Price to travel on City business from Vancouver to Edmonton from September 30 - October 2, in order to attend the Transportation Association of Canada Conference.
