Organizational Development component of the 1997 Cultural Grants budget.
BACKGROUND
Organizational Development Grants
Organizational Development is one of two funds in the Incentive Grants
category (the other being Cross-Cultural Initiatives). Organizational
Development funds are intended to help non-profit arts organizations
upgrade staff skills by assisting with arts administration training
costs, as well as by addressing specific operational and long-range
planning issues.
There is currently a balance of $30,000 in the Organizational
Development component of the Cultural Grants budget, including $15,000
for the Partners in Organizational Development grant program, which will
be reported on in Fall 1997. Approval of the grants recommended in this
report will leave an unallocated balance of $28,500 in Organizational
Development.
