   FROM:     Mayor Philip Owen

   SUBJECT:  Domestic Animal Committee


   In November 1996 Councillor Sam Sullivan was appointed to Chair the
   Domestic Animal Committee, formerly the Dog Task Force.  Councillor
   Sullivan now finds that he is unable to participate as Chair on this
   Committee due to other commitments.

   I would therefore, like to appoint Councillor Nancy Chiavario as Chair
   of the Domestic Animal Committee.
