                      BURRARD AND CYPRESS STREETS


              At its Special  Meeting on April 9,  1997 (reconvened on May  14, 1997), the Standing  Committee on Transportation
     and Traffic heard speakers on the above subject and referred the whole matter  to the Council meeting of June 17, 1997, to
     allow for receipt of further details from staff.

              The following materials (attached) refer:

              (a)     Administrative Report dated March 27, 1997;

              (a)i    Supplemental Administrative Report dated April 30, 1997;

              (b)     Memorandum  from  Planning  and  Engineering  Services  responding  to  Council  request  for  additional
                      information on this issue;

              (c)     Report  to  Council  -  Minutes  of  the  Special  Meeting  of  the  Standing  Committee  of  Council  on
                      Transportation and Traffic dated April 9 and May 14, 1997.
