ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT Date: November 4, 1996 File No.: 6083WILT TO: Vancouver City Council FROM: The City Building Inspector SUBJECT: Extension of Combined Development and Building Permit No. DB401103 - 6083 Wiltshire Street RECOMMENDATION THAT City Council approve an extension of Combined Development and Building Permit No. DB401103 until May 17, 1997. GENERAL MANAGER'S COMMENTS The General Manager RECOMMENDS approval of the foregoing. COUNCIL POLICY Article 1.11.5.1 of the Building By-law prohibits the City Building Inspector from granting more than one extension to a Building Permit. Any further extensions can only be approved by City Council. DISCUSSION The proposed construction is for a street-accessed two-car garage at the rear of the existing one family dwelling. The permit was issued in accordance with Board of Variance Appeal No. Z28696 which relaxed the required accessory building setback from 26 feet to 31 feet. The appeal remains valid as long as this permit is active. The above permit was previously extended and expires on November 17, 1996. * * * * *
