   Subject:         Transportation Plan Status


        Mr. Peter  Judd,  Assistant  City  Engineer,  Transportation
   Planning, will  provide Council  with a  report reference  on the
   status of the transportation plan.

        The prime  objective is to  furnish Council  with background
   information on transportation  issues as well as  the opportunity
   to ask questions or request further information.

        Council's  feedback   on  the  process  for  developing  the
   transportation  plan, including public  consultation initiatives,
   schedules, etc,. is also sought.
