PUBLIC HEARING AGENDA- OCTOBER 17, 1995
1. 225-255 East Broadway (Lots 12 to 16 except part
in Explanatory Plan 3324, all of Block 52,
District Lot 200A, Plan 708)
The proposed amendment to the Heritage By-law would:
- designate the principal facades of the existing building
listed in the "C" evaluation category on the Vancouver
Heritage Register as protected heritage property;
- ensure the protection of the designated portions of the
building from inappropriate alterations and demolition in the
future; and
- be in exchange for approval of relaxations to the floor space
ratio from 3.0 FSR to 3.73 FSR, the rear yard setback, 9
parking spaces, and loading access to one commercial unit
which the Director of Land Use and Development is able and
prepared to support.
