 Blenheim Street Traffic Measures


               On June 20, 1995 the Vancouver Traffic Commission heard delegations
               on the above subject.  Subsequent to the meeting numerous requests
               were received from area residents who also wished to be heard.

               It was agreed that a Special Council meeting would be held in the
               area to hear from residents.  After hearing from everyone, Council
               will decide at a later date whether to proceed with, cancel or
               modify the traffic calming measures which were proposed.

               The following information refers:

               (a)  Vancouver Traffic Commission Report dated June 20, 1995 and
                    Council action of July 11, 1995.

               (b)  Administrative Report dated May 31, 1995 from the General
                    Manager, Engineering Services

               (c)  Letter dated September 12, 1995 from the Assistant City
                    Engineer, Transportation Division, widely distributed to area
                    residents.
