   I  wish to advise you  the Vancouver Heritage  Commission, at its
   meeting on June  12, 1995,  when considering the  Minutes of  the
   Design Review Committee dated June 5, 1995, passed the  following
   motion:

        "THAT  the  Vancouver Heritage  Commission  requests Council
        that portions of the  interior of the Dick Building  and the
        Pitman Sign be preserved intact."
