PLEASE NOTE:
• This is a Special Council meeting called by the Mayor under sections 2.5(a) and 14.5 of the Procedure By-law for the purpose of convening a Business Licence Hearing.
• This Special Council meeting is to be convened by electronic means as authorized by Part 14 of the Procedure By-law and the Vancouver Charter.

1. Business Licence Hearing No 24-158755 (Short Term Rental)

On Tuesday, June 24, 2025 a Special Council (Business Licence Hearing) will take place in the Council Chamber to determine whether the Chief Licence Inspector’s decision to suspend the business licence (“Business Licence”) issued to Sandeep Sohal (the “Licencee”) for the short-term rental accommodation at 906-161 E 1st Avenue (the “Premises”) pursuant to section 25.1(3) of the City of Vancouver’s Licence By-Law No. 4450, should be upheld, overturned, or attach conditions to the Business Licence.
Robert LeBlanc, Litigation Counsel, Legal Services, will represent the City of Vancouver. James Vander Woude, Lawyer, Citadel Law Corporation, will represent the Licencee.
