• This is a Special Council meeting called by the Mayor under sections 2.5(a) and 14.5 of the Procedure By-law for the purpose of convening a
Business Licence Hearing.
• This Special Council meeting is to be convened by electronic means as authorized by Part 14 of the Procedure By-law and the Vancouver Charter.

On Wednesday, March 5, 2025 a Special Council (Business Licence Hearing) will take place in the Council Chamber to determine whether the Chief Licence Inspector’s decision to suspend the 2024 business licence (“Business Licence”) issued to Sukhvinder Sandhu (the “Licencee”) for a short term rental accommodation at 2303-128 W Cordova Street (the “Premises”) pursuant to section 25.1(3) of the City of Vancouver’s Licence By-Law No. 4450, should be upheld, overturned, or attach conditions to the Business Licence.
Iain Dixon, Assistant Director - Regulatory Litigation, Legal Services, will represent the City of Vancouver. Sukhvinder Sandhu will represent themselves.
