NOTE: This meeting will be held both in person and electronically, as authorized by Part 14 of the Procedure By-law.
This is a Special Council meeting called by the Mayor under sections 2.5(a) and 14.5 of the Procedure By-law for the purpose of convening a Court of Revision – Business Improvement Area (BIA) Hearing by electronic means.
ROLL CALL
1. DELEGATIONS CONCERNING ERRORS
Attached are the special assessment notification letters that were sent on or before Wednesday, November 27, 2024, to the assessed property owners within the following Business Improvement Areas (BIAs):
a) Cambie Village Business Improvement Area (BIA) Renewal
b) Collingwood Business Improvement Area (BIA) Renewal (inclusive of a proposed expansion area)
c) Hastings North Business Improvement Area (BIA) Renewal
Under Section 511 of the Vancouver Charter, Council, sitting as a Court of Revision, will hear from assessed property owners regarding errors in the names of the owners of the property and the measurements of the property, including the frontage or any other property measurement, and any variation applied pursuant to section 508 (g) and (j) of the Vancouver Charter.
