On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, a Special Council (Business Licence Hearing) will take place in the Council Chamber to determine whether the Chief Licence Inspector’s decision to refuse the issuance of a 2024 business licence (the “Business Licence”) to Anuj Chopra (the “Applicant”) for business premises located at 2807-688 Abbott Street, Vancouver, British Columbia (the “Premises”), should be upheld, overturned or attach conditions to the Business Licence.
Iain K. Dixon, Lawyer and Assistant Director, Regulatory Litigation, Legal Services, will represent the City of Vancouver. The Applicant will represent themselves.
