• This is a Special Council meeting called by the Mayor under sections 2.5(a) and 14.5 of the Procedure By-law for the purpose of convening a Business License Hearing.
• This Special Council meeting is to be convened by electronic means as authorized by Part 14 of the Procedure By-law and the Vancouver Charter.

1. Business Licence No. 23-181366 - Suspension (Retail Dealer – Gifts/Novelties) 247 W Broadway
On Tuesday, September 26, 2023 a Special Council (Business Licence Hearing) will take place in the Council Chamber to determine whether the Chief Licence Inspector’s decision to suspend the business licence (“Business Licence”) issued to 1394867 BC Ltd. (the “Licencee”) for business premises located at 247 W Broadway, Vancouver, British Columbia (the “Premises”) should be upheld, overturned or attach conditions to the Business Licence.
Robert LeBlanc, Lawyer, Legal Services, will represent the City of Vancouver. Jack Lloyd, Lawyer, will represent the business.
