ROLL CALL
1. Declaration of an Emergency in the City of Vancouver
Recommendation requires 2/3 affirmative votes of all Council members per Section 173 of the Vancouver Charter.
2. Amendments to Community Services Grants to Allow Community Response to COVID-19
Recommendation to amend prior Council approval of 2020 Community Services and Other Social Grants and 2020 Renters Services Grants (approved by Council on February 26, 2020) to allow recipients to receive accelerated grants and authorize the additional purposes of mitigating or preventing the transmission of COVID-19 and supporting victims of COVID-19 subject to conditions in the report.
Recommendation requires 2/3 affirmative votes of all Council members per Section 206(1) of the Vancouver Charter (as to the grant aspects) and 2/3 affirmative votes of all members present per Section 166 of the Vancouver Charter and Section 8.13(4) of the Procedure By-law (as to the amendment of a prior resolution).
