Appointments of Chief Building Official, City Electrician and Deputy Chief Building Official
A. THAT Council appoint Patrick Ryan, M.Sc., P.Eng., as Chief Building Official and City Electrician, effective immediately.
B. THAT Council appoint Mathew Lam, CP, P.Eng., as Deputy Chief Building Official, effective immediately through to March 1, 2015.
C. THAT Council remove Carli Edwards P.Eng., as Deputy Chief Building Official, effectively immediately.
D. THAT Council appoint Mark Roozbahani, P.Eng., MBA, as Deputy Chief Building Official, effective immediately through to March 1, 2015.

THAT Council appoint Tim Leung to the position of City Treasurer.

Land Acquisition for Affordable Rental Housing - 55, 63, 73, 79, 87, 95 and 115 Southwest Marine Drive
THAT Council authorize the Director of Real Estate Services to proceed with the acquisition of 55, 63, 73, 79, 87, 95 and 115 Southwest Marine Drive, as legally described in Appendix A of the Administrative Report dated November 26, 2014, entitled “Land Acquisition for Affordable Rental Housing - 55, 63, 73, 79, 87, 95 and 115 Southwest Marine Drive” and as shown on Appendix B of the same report (the “Subject Properties”), for the future development of affordable rental housing in the amount of $11,491,000 plus applicable taxes. Source of funds to be the Affordable Housing Reserve (with funds originating from the Community Amenity Contributions collected in the Cambie Corridor area for affordable rental housing) in advance of the 2015 Capital Budget.
