1. Amarjit Singh Toor
On Tuesday, October 21, 2014, a Chauffeur’s Permit Appeal Hearing will take place in the Council Chamber to determine whether or not the Chief Constable’s refusal to issue a Chauffeur’s Permit to Amarjit Singh Toor should be upheld or overturned.
Robert LeBlanc, Law Department, will represent the City of Vancouver. Pir Indar Sahota, Sahota Law Office, will represent Mr. Toor.
2. Mohammed Samrat Showkat
On Tuesday, October 21, 2014, a Chauffeur’s Permit Appeal Hearing will take place in Council Chamber to determine whether or not the Chief Constable’s decision to cancel the 2014 Chauffeur’s Permit issued to Mohammed Samrat Showkat should be upheld or overturned.
Robert LeBlanc, Law Department, will represent the City of Vancouver. Jeremy Guild, J.S. Guild Law Corporation, will represent Mr. Showkat.
3. Ren Nan Zhao
On Tuesday, October 21, 2014, a Chauffeur’s Permit Appeal Hearing will take place in Council Chamber to determine whether or not the Chief Constable’s refusal to issue a Chauffeur’s Permit to Ren Nan Zhao should be upheld or overturned.
Robert LeBlanc, Law Department, will represent the City of Vancouver. Mr. Zhao will represent himself.
