Settlement of 2012-2015 Collective Agreement between the Vancouver Public Library and CUPE Local 391
THAT City Council approve the funding for a Collective Agreement covering employees of the Vancouver Public Library represented by CUPE 391 for the period of January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2015.
The relevant report remains sensitive and cannot be released.
Property Acquisition for the Powell Street Grade Separation Project – 1170 Powell Street
THAT Council authorize the Director of Real Estate Services to proceed with the acquisition from Liron Investments Ltd., of a 300 square metre (3229 sq. ft.) portion of land for road purposes, located at 1170 Powell Street, legally described as Parcel Identifier: 009-648-011 Lot 22 of Lot 2 Block K District Lot 182 Plan 176, Parcel Identifiers: 009-649-361 and 002-973-057, Lots 23 & 26, Except The North 7 Feet of Each, Now Road, both of Block 2 District Lot 182 Plan 355, Parcel Identifiers: 009-649-425 and 002-972-999 Lots 24 & 25 both of Block 2 of Block A District Lot 182 Plan 355, and Parcel Identifier: 002-972-921 Lot 1 Block M District Lot 182 Plan 13661, which portion is shown outlined in bold on Appendix A to the Administrative Report dated March 6, 2013, entitled “Property Acquisition for the Powell Street Grade Separation Project – 1170 Powell Street”, at a cost of s. 17(1) (d) (e) & (f) and s. 21(1), for the land and the reconstruction related works, plus applicable taxes. It being noted that no legal right or obligation is hereby created and none shall arise until all legal documentation is fully executed on terms and conditions satisfactory to the Directors of Real Estate and Legal Services. Funding for the acquisition is available from CER-00117-11-AA within the approved 2013 Engineering Capital Budget.
