1. Thi Giang Vo (dba Star Night Vietnamese Restaurant)

Due to the absence of Thi Giang Vo at the scheduled June 24th Business License Hearing, the Panel agreed to adjourn the hearing and reschedule to the earliest possible date. The Panel also directed the Deputy Chief License Inspector to issue a suspension of the business licenses at her discretion and upon giving 10 days notice to the Licensee; and further agreed that the rescheduled Business License Hearing will proceed on a peremptory basis, regardless of whether or not the Licensee is present.
Accordingly, on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at 9:30 a.m., a Business License Hearing will take place in the Council Chamber to determine whether or not the 2008 City of Vancouver business licenses granted to Thi Giang Vo doing business as Star Night Vietnamese Restaurant (the “Licensee”), for a Restaurant Class 1 and Dining Lounge located at #101 – 1638 East Broadway, Vancouver British Columbia (the “Premises”) should be suspended or revoked.
Iain Dixon, Law Department, will represent the City of Vancouver. Thi Giang Vo will represent herself and will be accompanied by a Vietnamese interpreter.
