Jason Grant, Area Assessor, and Deborah Francis, Deputy Assessor, B.C. Assessment, will make a presentation on the 2007 Assessment Roll (limited distribution - on file) .
2. Annual Event Guidelines - Honours/Awards and National/International Events (Video Clips of this item: Clip 1; Clip 2)
At the Regular Council meeting on December 12, 2006, the Chair advised that requests to speak on this matter had been received and Council agreed to refer consideration to a future Standing Committee meeting in order to hear from the speakers.
Accordingly, the attached Administrative Report dated December 1, 2006, refers.
3. Seniors' Centre in Southeast Vancouver (Video clip of this item)
At the Regular Council meeting immediately following the Standing Committee on City Services and Budgets meeting on November 16, 2006 , the attached motion was submitted by Councillor Louie. Council Capri called Notice under Section 5.4 (c) of the Procedure By-law. The motion was to be considered at the Regular Council meeting immediately following the Standing Committee on Planning and Environment meeting held later that day.
Due to time constraints, Council agreed to postpone consideration of the motion to the Regular Council meeting on December 12, 2006, and subsequently agreed to refer consideration of the motion to a future Standing Committee meeting in order to hear from speakers.
