14.   2006 Property Tax Options: Averaging Effects (Video Item 14)

Vancouver City Council, at its meeting on February 16, 2006, authorized the Director of Finance to place advertisements advising the public that Council is considering enacting an averaging by-law and inviting input at today's meeting.

The relevant Policy Report dated January 30, 2006, and extract from the February 16th meeting are attached and refer.

The relevant by-law (LATE DISTRIBUTION) will be dealt with at the Council meeting immediately following the City Services and Budgets meeting.
