The City Manager submits this report for Council's consideration.

COUNCIL POLICY

The City's Travel Policy requires Council approval for travel by Councillors outside of B.C.

PURPOSE

By way of e-mail from Ms. Sharon Chrisholm, Executive Director, CHRA, I was invited to attend the CHRA Congress 2005 to discuss the work that is being done by the National Policy Options Team at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and the importance of working together to implement a new housing strategy for Canada that will support the community vitality of cities like Vancouver.

The estimated costs to be funded from the 2005 Travel Budget are as follows:
