Deputy Mayor Roster Adjustment |
Under s.207(2) of the Vancouver Charter, Council may, with the concurrence of the Mayor, appoint a Councillor to be Deputy Mayor of the city. Further, Council may with the concurrence of the Mayor make changes to this roster.
At the inaugural meeting of Council on December 2, 2002, Council appointed a roster of Deputy Mayors for each month for the period of December 2002 to November 2005. I recommend the following changes to roster of Deputy Mayor as follows:
That Councillor Tim Stevenson be named the Deputy Mayor for March 2005 and that Councillor Ellen Woodsworth be named the Deputy Mayor for October 2005.
