CONSIDERATION
THAT Council give consideration to authorize Councillor Peter Ladner to attend the Cascadia Transportation Leadership Forum to be held in Redmond, Washington February 24-25, 2005. Funding is estimated at $680.00 CAD to be funded from the 2005 Travel Budget.
CITY MANAGER'S COMMENTS
The City Manager submits this report for Council's consideration.
COUNCIL POLICY
The City's Travel Policy requires Council approval for travel by Councillors outside of B.C.
PURPOSE
To learn about the latest transportation technologies that could be applied in Vancouver to help achieve our transportation goals.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS
The estimated costs shall be funded from the 2005 Travel Budget as follows (shown in Canadian Funds):
