CONSIDERATION
THAT Council give consideration to authorize Councillor Green to attend the National Advisory Committee of the Canadian World Urban Forum Secretariat to be held in Ottawa on February 21 and 22, 2005; funding estimated at $2,375.00 and to be fully reimbursed by CMHC.
CITY MANAGER'S COMMENTS
The City Manager submits this report for Council's consideration.
COUNCIL POLICY
The City's Travel Policy requires Council approval for travel by Councillors outside of B.C.
PURPOSE
As a member of the World Urban Forum National Advisory Committee, this report requests approval for Councillor Jim Green to attend the National Advisory Committee of the Canadian World Urban Forum Secretariat to be held in Ottawa on February 21 and 22, 2005.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS
The estimated costs to be funded from the 2005 Travel Budget and to be fully reimbursed by CMHC are as follows:
