SUBJECT: Soil Remediation - Southeast False Creek
Further to the request by Council to ensure that the soil remediation on the City lands in Southeast False Creek (SEFC) is carried out with the more progressive approaches to soil management, I have had our environmental consultants review their current and proposed plans to ensure compliance with Council's request.
Attached is a letter from Morrow Environmental, dated December 20, 2004 outlining in detail their present and proposed plans. I have been assured by Morrow Environmental that we are using the most progressive approaches to economically remediate the City-owned lands.
