On July 22, 2003, a Business License Hearing will take place in the Council Chamber to determine whether or not a City of Vancouver business license for the year 2003 should be granted to Tae Yong Shin (the "License Applicant'), doing business as the Empress Hotel for business premises located at 235 East Hastings, Vancouver, British Columbia.

Catherine Kinahan, Solicitor, Legal Services, will represent the City of Vancouver. The License Applicant, Tae Yong Shin will represent himself. An interpreter will be present.
