SUBJECT: Appointment of Council Representatives to Advisory Committees

At the City Council meeting following the Planning and Environment Committee on January 16, 2003, City Council re-established a number of advisory committees for the duration of the Advisory Bodies Task Force Review. Of these, the Terms of Reference of four committees call for the assignment of liaison Councillors.
I RECOMMEND THAT Council approve the following appointments for the term January 28, 2003 to a maximum term of December 5, 2003, subject to Council consideration of the Advisory Body Task Force Review findings:
Bicycle Advisory Committee
Councillor Fred Bass
Council Special Advisory Committee on Cultural Communities
Councillor Jim Green
Council Special Advisory Committee on Disability Issues
Councillor Tim Louis
Council Special Advisory Committee on Seniors
Councillor Ellen Woodsworth
