COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE

1. Vancouver Transit Strategy

On March 5, 2002, City Council referred the attached Policy Report dated February 22, 2002 to a special evening meeting on April 9, 2002, to permit delegations to be heard.

On the evening of April 9, 2002, a Special Meeting of Council was held to hear delegations. Following a staff presentation and representations from 14 of the 34 registered speakers, the meeting was recessed. Council will reconvene Thursday, April 11, 2002, in the Council Chamber to hear additional speakers.
