EXPLANATION

AMENDMENT TO THE SIGN BY-LAW

BILLBOARDS

Section 10.3.2 of By-law 6510 deals with location, spacing and finishing of billboards. This Section would be amended by adding a new clause that would prohibit the location of billboards within 60 metres of the centre line (an imaginary line equidistant from each rail) of all existing and future rapid transit guideways or rail tracks which carry passenger trains.
