Addendum to Rezoning Report - 601 West 10th
The following additional information is provided in respect to the above-noted referral report, resulting from a meeting with the applicant subsequent to submission of the report. Staff reviewed with the applicant concerns noted in Appendix C of the report as `applicant's comments' and can provide the following clarifications.
Questions regarding height calculations were clarified and requested changes mentioned in the applicant's comments are no longer of concern. It was agreed that the phase 2 height measurements are to apply over the easterly 88.4 M ( 290 ft.) of the site
(see Appendix A).It was further agreed that staff support exclusion of above grade mechanical space (including mechanical penthouse) from floor space calculations, similar to provisions contemplated for Vancouver General Hospital.
