RECOMMENDATION

THAT Council approve the appointment of David Anthony Agosti as a By-law Process Server to serve summonses for infractions of City By-laws, effective immediately.

POLICY

There is no Council policy directly applicable to this matter. However, in accordance with Section 23 of the Offence Act, specific Council approval of this appointment is required.

DISCUSSION

David Anthony Agosti has received the required clearances by the R.C.M.P. and the Vancouver Police Department. This appointment is needed to fill a position.
