Adoption of Minutes
The minutes of the Standing Committee on Planning & Environment meeting of June 22, 2000, were adopted.

2. 757 Richards Street - Home Investments Ltd. File: 2612-14
Class 'A' Lounge/Pub With Off Premise Sales
THAT Council endorse the request by Home Investments Ltd., for a 145-seat Class `A' Lounge/Pub liquor license with off premise sales and 40-seat patio on private property, at the Kingston Hotel, 757 Richard Street, having considered the support of residents and business operators of the community and subject to:
i) The permanent cancellation of the existing Class `A' Pub license number 3242 held by Viva Enterprises Ltd.
ii) Time Limited Development Permit for the patio
iii) The signing of a Good Neighbour Agreement
iv) The hours of operation to remain at the current hours:
Monday to Saturday 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m.
Sunday 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 midnight.v) The patio closing at 11:00 p.m.

3. Granville Island Reference Document File: 8208
THAT the Principles and Objectives, attached as Appendix A to Policy Report dated, June 27, 30, be used to guide the preparation of detailed amendments of the Reference Document for Granville Island during phase two of the Granville Island Planning Review and acknowledging there should be further input on the principles by the Vancouver City Planning Commission in the Fall of 2000.
FURTHER THAT the fifth objective under the Principle "Ensure a Broad Means of Access" of the Policy Report dated June 27, 2000 be amended to read:
To maintain parking for motor vehicles on Granville Island, accompanied by an increase in the proportion of visitors arriving by means other than the private automobile.
