1999 Park Board Capital Budget Amendment
RECOMMENDATION
THAT the 1999 Park Board Capital Budget be increased by $458,450 with the source of funding being Senior Government grants and contributions from various community organizations.
POLICY
Council approves the Park Board budgets.
BACKGROUND
On May 6, 1999, City Council approved the Park Board 1999 Capital Budget in the amount of $6, 713,000.
DISCUSSION
Since that time the Board through its Community Partners has received the following additional Senior Government Grants and contribution.

CONCLUSION
Approval of the additional funding is sought to implement these already approved projects. The contributions from Senior Government and Community Groups represent a significant funding towards updating the Park Board Infrastructure and/or enhancing Stanley Park.
